New Kitchen? I hope her cooking's good enough to justify
the loss of a gun ;-) This could be start of a slippery slope. May I
suggest you discretely buy in some 'disposable' rough old guns which
you can 'sacrifice' later - with much sorrow at how little the
'priceless antique' raised in this cursed modern world - as your
effort/donation towards a new three piece suite, new bed, etc.
